【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversenvironmental,functional,operational,andsecurityrequirementsforpadlocks.Includedarefunctiondescriptions,cycletests,operationaltests,environmentaltests,forcingtests,andsurreptitiousentrytests.NoefforthasbeenmadetoincludecriteriaforspeciallymadepadlocksusedbytheDepartmentofDefenseorothersinhighlysensitivelocations.1.2Thisspecificationdescribesandgradesvariouslevelsofperformancetoprovideusersofthespecificationwithcriteriauponwhichtoselectsuitablepadlocks.1.3Testsdescribedarelaboratorytestsandalthoughtheysimulatefieldconditionsastoattacksortheenvironment,theydonotduplicatetheseconditions.Testsdescribedarerepeatableinthelaboratory.1.4Someusersofthisspecificationmaywishtousepadlocksthathavespecialattributesnotrelatedtosecurity.Thesearefoundin4.3.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.6Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportions,Sections8-11,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
