【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61643isapplicabletoavalanchebreakdowndiodes(ABDs)whichrepresentonetypeofsurgeprotectivedevicecomponent(hereinafterreferredtoasSPDC)usedinthedesignandconstructionofsurgeprotectivedevicesconnectedtolow-voltagepowerdistributionsystems,transmission,andsignallingnetworks.TestspecificationsinthisstandardareforsingleABDsconsistingoftwoterminals.However,multipleABDsmaybeassembledwithinasinglepackagedefinedasadiodearray.Eachdiodewithinthearraycanbetestedtothisspecification.ThisstandardcontainsaseriesoftestcriteriafordeterminingtheelectricalcharacteristicsoftheABD.Fromthestandardtestmethodsdescribedherein,theperformancecharacteristicsandratingsoftheABDcanbeverifiedorestablishedforspecificpackageddesigns.
