【摘要】:Thedeterminationoftheboilingpointdistributionofcrudeoilsandvacuumresidues,aswellasotherpetroleumfractions,yieldsimportantinformationforrefineryoperation.Theseboilingpointdistributionsprovideinformationastothepotentialmasspercentyieldofproducts.Thistestmethodmayprovideusefulinformationthatcanaidinestablishingoperationalconditionsintherefinery.Knowledgeoftheamountofresidueproducedisimportantindeterminingtheeconomicsoftherefiningprocess.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheboilingpointdistributionandcutpointintervalsofcrudeoilsandresiduesbyusinghightemperaturegaschromatography.Theamountofresidue(orsamplerecovery)isdeterminedusinganexternalstandard.1.2Thistestmethodextendstheapplicabilityofsimulateddistillationtosamplesthatdonotelutecompletelyfromthechromatographicsystem.Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheboilingpointdistributionthroughatemperatureof720C.Thistemperaturecorrespondstotheelutionofn-C100.1.3Thistestmethodisusedforthedeterminationofboilingpointdistributionofcrudeoils.Thistestmethodusescapillarycolumnswiththinfilms,whichresultsintheincompleteseparationofC4-C8inthepresenceoflargeamountsofcarbondisulfide,andthusyieldsanunreliableboilingpointdistributioncorrespondingtothiselutioninterval.Inaddition,quenchingoftheresponseofthedetectoremployedtohydrocarbonselutingduringcarbondisulfideelution,resultsinunreliablequantitativeanalysisoftheboilingdistributionintheC4-C8region.Sincethedetectordoesnotquantitativelymeasurethecarbondisulfide,itssubtractionfromthesampleusingasolvent-onlyinjectionandcorrectionstothisregionviaquenchingfactors,resultsinanapproximatedeterminationofthenetchromatographicarea.Aseparate,higherresolutiongaschromatograph(GC)analysisofthelightendportionofthesamplemaybenecessaryinordertoobtainamoreaccuratedescriptionoftheboilingpointcurveintheintervalinquestion(see).1.4Thistestmethodisalsodesignedtoobtaintheboilingpointdistributionofotherincompletelyelutingsamplessuchasatmosphericresidues,vacuumresidues,etc.,thatarecharacterizedbythefactthatthesamplecomponentsareresolvedfromthesolvent.1.5Thistestmethodisnotapplicablefortheanalysisofmaterialscontainingaheterogeneouscomponentsuchaspolyestersandpolyolefins.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificwarningstatementsaregiveninSection8.
